Finally, since Lapras' Attack and Special Attack are equal I prefer to have at least one attack of each type (physical and special) on her should I run into something like a Blissey or Hypno. Lapras' 268 Special Attack isn't exceptional (luckily that 20 point drop between RBY and GSC wasn't too painful), but it certainly is passable, and with STAB on her side an Ice Beam or Surf coming from Lapras is going to hurt
