You intended for them to believe it was a real firearm and they did! Secondly has everyone forgotten that a government is supposed to represent the people not dictate to them. Trying to get an airsoft handgun with a rifle license would be no different than trying it with real firearms and if you have any firearms license then you should already be aware of this
