Water getting inside the heated oxygen sensor connector can caused the heated oxygen sensor fuse to blow, which is a very common problem for this type codes. The faster the heated oxygen sensor reaches that temperature the faster the sensor will start sending an accurate signal to the Engine Control Module (ECM).In order to achieve the require temperature, a heater element is included inside the heated oxygen sensor

O2 Sensor (bank 1 - Sensor 1) Front Or Rear? - Kia Forum

By the way, the 2nd sensor, in the center of the exhaust pipe under the car, has different gender connector on harness than the first sensor under discussion. Bad O2 heater (which you already tested), 12V not found at the heater (blown fuse, bad wiring, bad connection), wiring problem between the O2 sensor and the ECM (bad connection or short), or bad ECM

(Usually requires replacement of heater circuit fuse in fuse block also) Shorted signal circuit in O2 sensor Melting of harness connector or wiring due to contact with exhaust system Water intrusion in harness connector or PCM connector Bad PCM Possible Solutions This is a fairly specific problem and shouldn't be too difficult to diagnose

Possible symptoms- Engine Light ON (or Service Engine Soon Warning Light)- Possible higher than usual fuel Consumption P0141 Description Oxygen Sensors (O2S) or Heated Oxygen Sensors (HO2S) need to reach a minimum operating temperature of 750 degrees F to produce an accurate voltage signal. The faster the heated oxygen sensor reaches that temperature the faster the sensor will start sending an accurate signal to the Engine Control Module (ECM).In order to achieve the require temperature, a heater element is included inside the heated oxygen sensor

The faster the heated oxygen sensor reaches that temperature the faster the sensor will start sending an accurate signal to the Powertrain Control Module (PCM).In order to achieve the require temperature, a heater element is included inside the heated oxygen sensor. The PCM controls the heater element circuit by allowing current flow to ground. The PCM monitors the voltage signal received through the heater element circuit and determines the state of the circuit by comparing the voltage detected with the factory specifications

OBD-II Trouble Code: P0150 02 Sensor Circuit Malfunction (Bank 2 Sensor 1)

If the sensor operates properly, then the sensor may be okay and the problem may be holes in the exhaust or an unmetered vacuum leak in the engine (NOTE: Unmetered vacuum leaks at the engine are almost always accompanied by lean codes. If the problem is constant, then symptoms may include one or more of the following: MIL illumination Engine runs rough, missing or stumbling Blows black smoke from tail pipe Engine dies Poor fuel economy Causes Usually the cause of P0150 is a bad oxygen sensor, however this isn't always the case

Bank 1 Sensor 2 - will this fit - Maxima Forums

Partially yes, but you left out the most important qualifier, The banks shows the physical location, the SENSOR NUMBER tells you whether it is up stream or downstream. Looks right to me! That's what I was thinking too, luckily this seller labeled it as downstream sensor. Many sellers out there just label them as 3 or 4 wire oxygen sensors
