Children Learning Reading Program - How to Teach Your Child to Read
I have taken it slowly as sometimes we have external interruptions that have not allowed for a quick transition from one letter and letter sound to another. My reading program is not a miracle quick fix, but it is a logical and sequential order of learning based on tried and tested teaching techniques that makes it incredibly effective at teaching anyone at any age to read phonetically

My question is: will a certificate of single status be sufficient or wwill we need a certificate of no impediment? I understand that we have to declare the same religion but note the repercussions if we both declare Christian Catholic as we do not wish to get married in Catholic Church but at a hotel instead

Christening issue - do you have to involve the dad?
(I remember trying to arrange my own wedding celebrations so my parents didn't come into contact with each other....20yrs+ after their divorce!!! It blighted the day for me and really, I wish they'd come to some sense earlier.) The church ceremony will be quite busy and distracting, with a clear role for the parents to play during it...so hopefully no chance for things to turn unpleasent. We booked the chuch hall for afterwards - and I told him that if he gave me half the cost of the hall and the food then his family would be welcome to join us afterwards
Do children really have to be christened these days?
If you are not a Christian yourself - by that I mean if you do not believe in Christ and have a relationship with God - I would agree with some of the earlier posts that it would be somewhat hypocritical to be baptised or to baptise your children. Some Christian families choose the thanksgiving service as they want the children to make their own decision when they are older, but it might also suit your situation too
