How do I recreate Excel formula in Access query? Help plz
In an Access query that I want to design, I will be querying on a table that will contain dates (AF2) and will also contain a field for each month (Jan through Dec). I know that's not really what you wanted to hear, but Excel tables don't always transfer nicely to Access so that you can query them (hence all of the nifty Excel functions and the formulas that you use them in)
Have you ever actually used the Idle Method, and if so, what were your results? It appears as though it is used primarily in a Multi-user Environment to force the Database Engine to write data to disk, releasing memory locks. Or are we looking at two different things, one where the timing is sensitive (needing the MoveLast) and one that is not time sensitive (the RecordCount)? Thanks
