My mum and dad are very involved in our lifes, they live round the corner and see them every day, and if we ever have to drive anywhere altogether (to go for dinner or to the caravan or something) we just split ourselves between the two cars. Keep the t4 they are holding value really well and totally worth the money esp if your in to your vdub scene with the shows in the summer which are all cheap and family friendly Jazzy B likes this

I imagined the person backing away as I came out of the store, watching me return to the car, recording it all, not stopping me, not saying anything, but standing there and dialing 911 as I drove away. One friend tells me how, from 7-Elevens, to Kroger, to various banks, schools and offices, he was left alone in the front passenger seat of a convertible Mustang for a good portion of his childhood, primarily because he was shy and wanted to not have to meet new people

Did you know that loose sleepwear is a safety hazard? Children can get tangled in it and either strangle or not be able to move properly in an emergency situation. The only difference I can tell between the Graco My Ride65 and the Graco MyRide 65 LX is the little cushiony insert and the nicer head rest (like for an infant)

One exception: If the rear seat of your vehicle has a low back, opt for a high-back booster seat, which provides more head and neck protection in a collision. You'll also need to check the car seat law in your state (you can use the Child Safety Laws tool at the National Safe Kids Campaign site to look up local regulations). No matter when your child finally outgrows her car seat, it's imperative that you don't skip the booster-seat step and go straight to using seat belts alone

Is my child too big for his car seat? What if a child exceeds the seat's weight limit or has to bend his knees to face the rear? Is it still safe? POLL Will you keep your child in a rear-facing car seat? The AAP says to keep your child rear-facing until age 2. You can ask questions and get advice by visiting the Extended Rear-Facing group. It may also be helpful to look at pictures of older kids in rear-facing car seats

How Long Should My Baby Be in a Rear-Facing Car Seat?

  http://babyproducts.about.com/od/carseats/qt/rear_facing.htm
It is no longer recommended to turn your baby around immediately at one year and 20 pounds, thanks to new research that shows the safety advantages of extended rear-facing. Now that there are car seats with even higher rear-facing limits, even my tall toddler son is comfortably rear-facing at almost 3 with plenty of room to grow before he needs to switch. Why would you want to keep your child rear-facing? Crash data shows us that anybody is safer in a crash when riding rear-facing for the reasons we outlined above
