I see where you have to enable it before you actually flash the Rom, my question is this, after you flash the new Rom and after you reboot the system do you need to disable Safestrap Recovery before you use the new flashed Rom. Do I need to re-flash or did I follow the wrong instructions? My Maxx already had the ICS update btw 4.0.4 Reply Brandon says: August 21, 2012 at 1:02 am Safe System is enabled too btw Reply Brandon says: August 21, 2012 at 1:12 am Think I may have just answered my own question

Unfortunately, from the looks of things, owners that are experiencing issues with Wi-Fi may not get software from Motorola or Verizon that tackles the problem. So while buying a new router is probably not the most optimal situation for Droid RAZR and Droid RAZR MAXX owners, it may be the only way to fix (at least for now) the Wi-Fi issues that cropped up with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean

The keyboard is absolutely terrible!!! Leave it like a standard qwerty keyboard! The keys are smaller and I couldnt give a crap about cute emoticons.I need a functional tool to push upwards of 40 emails a work day. I saw the post about google keyboard, but when I went to download the app there was a notice about how the google keyboard may store passwords and credit card info (essentially anything typed will be stored)

Motorola Confirms Android 4.4 Updates For The Droid RAZR MAXX HD, Droid RAZR M, Atrix HD (What?), And More

Anthony Carbonaro I've got the Atrix HD, and I was considering getting rid of it for a Nexus 5, but once I put in the battery from the Razr Maxx HD I decided that I'd rather have two days of battery life than an empty wallet. Give us at least a 4.2 or 4.3 update! Come on!!!! (Im rooted and running CM 10.1.3 but it would be nice to get an official update!) John Westerdale Why are Razr Maxx (non HD) owners not included? Is the development of Android 4.4 for TI Omap chip too expensive? Does it require a separate development project? Arch@ngel Photon Q (XT897) is still "Future Plan Coming Soon" Orz Crabonok This 18 month update window crap is crazy..

tha.fox (Posts: 100; Member since: 30 Nov 2011) Hows this get a lower rating than the S3?!?! Its more durable, water resistant, better signal, better call quality, better feel holding it, HDMI, on screen buttons, better battery life, a close to stock look instead of ugly touch wiz and motocast cloud services. KingKurogiii (Posts: 5685; Member since: 23 Oct 2011) something that drives me crazy is that when they review Motorola devices they never go into the camera settings and turn off the widescreen shots

But most importantly, there is no place on the internet that has the reader participation that we do and consider ourselves to be completely community driven. The mute function on the phones volumes is not where it used to be, you have to search for it and actually go into ringtones each time and change your ringtone now

We're sure there were a few people who purchased the original phone because they were bedazzled by its incredibly thin profile, but how many owners would much rather have a device that's still reasonably svelte and offers astronomically superb battery life?Power users who need to have the longest runtime possible will have no choice but to pick this. 100 How We Score: Global Score The Engadget Global Score is a unique ranking of products based on extensive independent research and analysis by our expert editorial and research teams

For even more peace of mind, more-severe methods such as remote wipe, PIN lock, SD card and device encryption, and remote enabling and disabling of camera and Wi-Fi are possible, too. Features Offering a mother lode of Android capabilities, the Droid Razr Maxx has all the staples, including a few surprises, such as GPS, Bluetooth 4.0 (which supports a new generation of low-power accessories), Wi-Fi, and a mobile hot-spot capability that lets the phone act as a modem for up to eight Wi-Fi-enabled devices

By that time, people would have already upgrade their phone to something better so this non removable battery can hardly be an issue as long as it is like the one in this Razr Maxx which gives us more than 2 days of uses before having to recharge again, that should be fine. RORYREVOLUTION (Posts: 3072; Member since: 12 Jan 2010) Should have waited and called it the Razr 2 with ICS, 4.5 inch 720p super amoled display running a 1.5 dual core processor

11.The device will then start clearing cache 12.Once the process is complete, press the PWR key to confirm a REBOOT (which is highlighted by default after the cache is cleared) 13.The message rebooting is displayed on the phone.
