Hall, Hugh Laurie, Leonardo DiCaprio, James Franco, and Jamie Isaac Conde, were all rumored to play the Riddler before it was confirmed the character would not appear in the film. Cinematographer Wally Pfister has expressed interest in shooting the entirety of the film in the IMAX format, as both Pfister and Christopher Nolan have expressed distaste for shooting the film in 3-D

The latest bomb came when Bale gave his opinion on the ending of "The Dark Knight Rises." In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Bale revealed that he believes the ending of the movie was no dream. This is partly because Alfred describes a similar scene to Wayne earlier in the film and partly because everyone thought Batman had been blown up by a nuclear bomb

I also think that removing Alfred and therefore much of the humanity and humour from the equation was a mistake and I would have liked a little more ambiguity (a la Inception) as to the fate of the character. Plus I could also point out that the story is basically Rocky III crossed with Star Wars with yet another generic race against time tacked onto the end

Police said the weapons used in the massacre include a military-style AR-15 assault rifle with a high-capacity drum-style clip, a shotgun and two handguns. Fans were so anxious to get into the theaters to see the new Batman film that babies, and elementary school age children were brought to a midnight showing (of a movie that is almost 3 hours in length) to see a movie that features graphic violence, terrorist attacks, torture, mass killings and large-scale destruction. Have you thought about the idea that maybe he had his problem of sleep all along from other films before doing the DK? Of course, you would not see that in the press until now since of his last movie, which so happens to be a dark role

If a person stays with one pharmacy, even if they only have one MD, the pharmacy would alert the MD of the combination of meds being prescribed and only dispense the medication, if the md approved

Now in the new movie, batman has been retired for 7 years and gotham has been pretty much relieved of crime (another basic problem i have because both of those concepts are so un batman like). Not cool Nolan. They made it seem in TDK that they were going to have a long history together and then just scrapped that whole plot by never mentioning Joker

And after posthumously winning the Oscar for his haunting portrayal of the Joker and becoming the best Batman movie villain to date, it seemed wrong to even consider recasting the role for future films. Personally I find the idea of Joker being Arkham's sole prisoner weirdly romantic, and like to imagine him wandering the halls divining his own plans for future mayhem
